Jennifer Thiessen is an international performer, choreographer, and media personality. 

As an actor, Jennifer played Connie in the 2017 North American Tour of Saturday Night Fever, choreographed by Marc Kimelman. She is an original cast member in the 1st National Tour of Harry Potter And The Cursed Childafter serving as movement captain for its record-breaking production at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto. Regionally, she has been in productions of Guys And Dolls, directed by Richard J. Hinds, the tap dance spectacular Thoroughly Modern Millie, and holiday favorite Elf, both directed and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld. She has performed in two productions of West Side Story - one featuring Jerome Robbins' iconic dances. Jennifer was nominated for a 2018 Toronto Broadway World Award for her performance as Kitty in The Drowsy ChaperoneYou can also watch her turn into a tiger in Season 2 of The CW's Masters of Illusion

As an emerging choreographer, Jennifer has assisted Cirque du Soleil on the 2015 Pan Am Games Opening Ceremonies, and Jacob Brent on Disney's Newsies at the Forestburgh Playhouse. Her own work includes productions of Aladdin at the Madinat Theatre in Dubai, and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, for which she received a 2016 Toronto Broadway World Award nomination for Best Choreography. She is the assistant choreographer for Beaches The Musical, which recently had its international premiere.

Jennifer is a passionate and dedicated dance educator and an active member of the performing arts community in North America. She serves as Secretary for the Canadian Guild of Stage Directors and Choreographers, and her popular weekly theatre podcast, Tits + Teeth Podcast, recently completed its 5th season.
